Dr. Liza Emirali
Founder of Little Einsteins
Little Einsteins is run by me, Dr. Liza Emirali. A scientist with almost 15 years of experience in laboratory research and science communication.
I was awarded my PhD in Toxicology by Imperial College, London, after spending 4 years in the lab, exploring the effects that air pollutants have on the human body.
After that, I started my Research Fellowship at the University of Cambridge. My subject was still air pollution but I learned about all sorts of interesting topics whilst there.
I enjoyed my experimental work immensely and made some very exciting discoveries. Some of which are used by UK and EU governments.
However, the most rewarding part of my job was sharing those discoveries with young people.
It was the birth of my daughter in 2024 that inspired me to step away from the lab bench and share my love for science with young people, full time.
She was born, and so was Little Einsteins.
